Legion Devils

As horrified as we are of the 3.5e Legion Devils, whose +X got on everyone’s nose, I mostly won’t tolerate minion Legion Devils. The basic legion devils were mostly just a monster version with the same stats, with Halberdiers as sort of, back line strikers, and Commanders to take them into lvl 5 as a hard encounter. The Scouts were intended to be linked to Imps and Cinder Crow Young as something of a skirmish encounter with a Brute or two at the core.

They move in sections of four (usually 2-3 soldiers and 1-2 specials), and each platoon is led by a 1st Lt. with a Cinder Crow (a fire crow, trained to relay magic signals and messages). If they’re outnumbered, they’ll retreat and regroup in a squad or platoon if necessary- each platoon has a 1st Lt and two 1st sergeants who command the squads individually. In the particular Devil Company that enters Hammacher Campus, there are 5 platoons and one special company. Specials are hellhounds and smaller dogs who search the area.
